My Bridal Shower

Thanks to all for "showering" me with so many wonderful gifts...I love you all :)

Parties tomorrow :)

Two parties tomorrow, for ME! Woohoo :) I can't wait! First is my Bridal Shower hosted by my wonderful maid of honor, Sara, and her mother, Cheryl. Then, the "last night of craziness" is to begin! The group of us are meeting at Spaghetti Warehouse downtown at 6pm to fill our bellies with "drinking-friendly" foods. And then we meet at the hotel, get ready, get on the limobus, and party-hardy til 2AM. Woohoo!!!! Can't wait :) Anyways, I will post photos next week becuase I will actually have internet at home come Monday afternoon. Another happy happy joy joy thing pour moi.

3 weeks, 1 day til the "I DO's" and Eric and I are both just as equally excited. We just cannot wait!!!

my hair!

Well, this past Saturday I got to see what my hair will look for the wedding and well, I am soooo happy with it! It is just perfect! And I went ahead and had her cut and style my hair so that, wait for it, I can start wearing it down! woohoo :) I was wearing up all the time cause I just didn't have it cut right and wanted to make sure I had enough length to do something fabulous for the wedding. And as the Spice Girls said at the end of each of their Reunion Tour 2008 shows: Mission Accomplished!

As soon as I can get photos up from the shower, I will post them to show off my new 'do!

Window treatments

We put up curtains in the office (though they are now open and soon to have mini blinds behind them) and a valance in the kitchen which too will have mini blinds to accompany them!

Centerpieces and bubbles!

Eric's sister-in-law/my bridesmaid, Mary, and I worked for 2 1/2 hours last night and assembled all of the centerpieces and put tags on bubbles for the reception! MAN! 28 centerpieces and 120 bubbles...that was a LOT of ribbon and making pretty bows!!!

Tomorrow I am off to help my mom pick out an outfit for the wedding, buy tablecoverings and table skirts, and then get the "goods" for my bachelorette party which is next Saturday night, woohoo!

We are 4 weeks and 1 day away from "I Do" and well, I am just more ready than ever!!! I put all the reception stuff into boxes and stuff for ceremony into its own box so that we can haul it out, put it up and be done as quick as possible. Organization has been the KEY to my sanity, though some may argue I never had that to begin with!!!

Anyways, I'll post more photos after next weekend's Bridal Shower and bachelorette party!

James' Graduation!

Finally putting up photos from James' graduation on May 23, 2008. Wow! All done with high school...it's a miracle! hahahahaha :)

He just wouldn't smile...probably because I just had to put bobby pins in all that hair of his in front of his friend so his cap would stay on...oh the joys of being the older sister!!!

Thankfully I got to upload some photos onto my flash drive at my folks' house yesterday while Eric and I were over for a Father's Day lunch! So here they are:

Wedding updates!

Things are almost completely set to go! We talk over things, again, with the photographer tonight and last night we finalized everything for the cake...which I must say, is going to be awesome!!! And it tastes so good I'm actually salavating as I write (is that how you spell that?!) . I got my dress back from the seamstress two Saturdays ago...the only "apparel" thing left is for ALL of the guys (yes, all of them...still!) to get fitted for their tuxes before the Fourth of July. I am sure that is managable...but they are MEN! What else?! The catering is confirmed and after I talk to the photographer tonight I have to email the florist to let her know when we start photos so she can be there an hour early to set up. WHAT FUN!!! I just can't wait to see how it all comes together...at least in the photos after because, as I hear, it's all going to be a blur!

And I get my computer tomorrow, in working order, woohoo!

A home computer!

Well...it is going to the good 'ol computer shop to get fixed up (I got it for free from my previous job and it still had the old network log in on there...joy!) So, once I get that back, I will get the internet set up and I will have more photos up!

HELLO ALL!

Since we just moved in last week and as of last night at 9:30PM we FINALLY cleared out the soon-to-be office so to paint, put up a computer desk (which we still need to purchase!), and I still need call to get the Internet (as well as cable for that matter!) hooked up, then I can start posting the "After" photos. But for now, here are the "Befores" (some of you may have seen these already), with more to come!!!

The railing is since gone and the garage door WILL be painted!

You cannot tell, but the cabinets were a pinkish tint. They are now cream :)

We just hung drapes...it was quite an ordeal!

And OUR room is muchos better!!!!
