My rooster quilt :)

My dad and mom helped Eric & I to finally hang up my rooster quilt I bought to adorn one of the walls in our dining room. And I must say, it looks fabulous. And the scounces on either side I got at an antique store while we were in Tipp City for Valentine's Day :)

Finally, we have lamps!

So after months and months of 'borrowing' one of my mom's old table lamps we now have a gorgeous set of 4 lamps spread through the living room and in the office. The lamp I had in the office just didn't go with the decor so I am going to repaint the base one of these days and use it for the guest room whenever the heck we get around to officially setting that room up! Hey, it's all a process, right?! :) Well here are some photos of the living room & office! We are still looking around and pricing end tables and a TV stand but with the current economic times, we figure Eric's education (which he is ALMOST DONE with, woohoo!) and other necessities must come first. Maybe, just maybe we'll get some by the end of the year. And then, we'll start saving for a 50" LCD flat screen, woohoo! haha :)

BTW...JCPenney's clearance sales are where I get such good deals. I got these 4 lamps there for $80.00!!!
