Charleston, SC...here we come!

We're heading out for a week-long vacation in fantastic Charleston, SC (definitely one of my favorite places EVER!). Will try and post photos from the beach if I come across free WiFi :) If not, will post lovely pics when we return!

My (very) Short Business Trip to CHICAGO!

Myself and another co-worker headed out to Chicago via Columbus Airport (must say, I think Southwest is a fab airline!) on Sunday afternoon and were home Monday night! Below are a few photos I snagged on my first trip to the city :) And by first I mean there WILL be more, I loved it!

UPDATE: Harry Potter at 12:01am!

Okay...First, as a franchise of movies from a series of books that I just adore, the movie was good. Not great, just good. Second, it left much to be desired. The amount of CRUCIAL details from the book left out in the movie to allow for an unnecessary amount of 'Won Won' scenes is very disappointing. Needless to say, I would place this at the bottom of the pile for the HP movies made thus far if I ranked my favs. I guess now I'll just have to start the 489 day (give or take!) countdown to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1!

My mom and I will be two of the first millions (I am sure!) who will be seeing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tonight/tomorrow at 12:01am. WOOHOO! CAN'T WAIT!!! (I even took off work tomorrow for this...and will do the same in November for 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' you betcha!)

It's official...I'm a grad student!

Just got the word today :) woohoo! I start September 8th and hopefully complete the program (not completely sure on the schedule yet...) by November 2010! That will rock :) Then, it'll be time for a new job position, God willing!
