So I un-saturated the photos in photo editor and I really like these. It makes them, like, more nostalgic looking or something like that. It's like they are now a more subtle contrast between black & white and colored! Love them :)

Update on my camera!

It is on its way home from being repaired, woohoo! I never realized how much I loved it until it was gone...hahahaha!

McCain in Dayton!

...and I'll be there! At least I will...my mom and dad and bro have tickets to go but I am still waiting to hear if they can go or not! I already took the whole day off work to be at the Nutter Center here at Wright State Univ. to listen and rally as John McCain announces his VP nominee. I sure hope it's Mitt Romney...that would be just wonderful!

Anyways, just thought I'd share my GOOD news of the day.

U S A !

Congrats to Michael Phelps (and the entire USA relay swimming team here) for winning 8 gold medals in Beijing. Eric and I were at Fricker's Saturday night to witness this occassion LIVE and let me tell you, the entire place was roaring as we all cheered and chanted "USA" in the final seconds of this incredible race. This was one of those moments we all only get to witness a few times or even once in our lives and I am glad I got to experience it! USA USA USA!

New hair do, again!

Good news!

I got a service report from Nikon and they are fixing my digital camera as we speak! Of course it cost me money, but nearly $350 less than I would have spent to buy the same camera brand new. My mom sure knows how to buy a great gift!!! And then I broke it...oops! But it's being fixed and in just enough time because next month we have KENNY CHESNEY in Indy and then in October we got a cabin in Hocking Hills, OH for the weekend of birthday...should be some good, good times!

Anyways, nothing new to report. I have all the wedding gifts put away and am diligently (is that right?!) working on the Thank You's from the wedding. That I can only do for so long cause after a day at work, my hand hurts after writing them all out! haha :)

Eric is in Michigan all this week for training and will be gone again for 1 week in Sept, Oct, and Nov. But I luckily have the Brumby dog with me for the week to keep me "safe," or I guess just to keep me company more than that ;) I think we need a dog...but that's a whole other topic and Eric would flip. So we'll have to keep that idea on the back burner for now.

I am gonna try and update this blog more often with the "what's up" in our neck of the woods but sadly without my camera, I just feel so lost in trying to share all the great changes (i.e., new decorations in the house) with everyone. But I am sure I'll have it back soon, thank God!
