More additions to the living room :)

We went to Bed Bath & Beyond today to look at some ottomans we saw in their ad...instead, we found this set and just loved them! They are perfect. It was one large storage ottoman in which the top flips over and 'locks in' to convert it to a tray. Had handles and everything! And then two smaller ottomans which we can use throughout the living room and eventually in the office once we get a reading chair in their :) And here are some photos!!!

Here is what the front of our house looked like when purchased last May 2008:

And now, after adding new, chocolate brown vinyl panel shutters and a new porch light & garage light...gorgeous!!! (just excuse the pile of trash at the curb, hehe):

More seating in the living room :)

...introducing our new bench! We are very pleased with it and put it together ourselves in less than 20 minutes! The baskets underneath I got for a FABULOUS deal (it was just my lucky day I guess!) and we put nice, tan micro-fiber throws in them :) Things, as my posts always say/show, are coming together very nicely!!!

Spicing up the laundry room :)

So I added some curtains behind our washer & dryer to cover up a couple access panels. I must say, it looks much, much better :) As Eric said once I was done putting them up, it looks "cozy" back there now. Nice!



Got the valances from KMart and used a tension rod (shower one was cheaper than the ones for curtains actually!) to hang them up. I love so very much sprucing up the house. It truly is my very favorite 'past time' :)
